WorkoutBuddy respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile app and related services. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

- Training Data: Workout plans, exercise history, performance tracking, progression data, bodyweight entries, and other fitness-related information you choose to store in the app.
- Usage Data: Non-identifying analytics about how you use WorkoutBuddy, such as screens viewed, feature usage, crashes, and performance signals.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain WorkoutBuddy and its features.
- To save and sync your training history, profile, and progression data.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain your information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide WorkoutBuddy, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Request account and data deletion
If WorkoutBuddy does not yet provide in-app deletion for all account data, you may request deletion of your account and associated app data by contacting us.
How to request deletion
- Email: support@workoutbuddy.health
- Use the subject line: “Delete my WorkoutBuddy account”
- Send the request from the email address associated with your WorkoutBuddy account, or include that email address in the message.
What may be deleted
- Your authentication account details used to access WorkoutBuddy
- Your saved training plans, workouts, progress tracking data, and related profile data
- Any bodyweight, performance, or user-generated data stored within the app
What may be retained
- Limited records required for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, or operational compliance purposes
- Subscription records handled by app store and subscription providers. We do not store your payment card details ourselves.
6. Analytics and Device Storage
WorkoutBuddy may use analytics, local storage, and similar technologies to improve app performance, remember preferences, and understand how features are used. Some functionality may not work correctly if these features are disabled.
